Bacchus de Plata for Valdecuevas Verdejo 2016 and Valdecuevas Cuvée 2015


Valdecuevas Verdejo 2016 and Valdecuevas Cuvée 2015 have won a silver medal at the Bacchus 2017 awards, a contest involving the five wine continents, Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania with more than 1,700 wines.

Valdecuevas Verdejo, 100% Variety Verdejo, the most representative wine from the Valdecuevas winery, obtained from the oldest and least productive vineyards, obtains for the third consecutive year a medal in this contest that gathers a cast of 85 expert tasters, journalists, sommeliers, Winemakers, Masters of Wine, Masters of Sommelier, a selection of luxury to recognize quality among great wines.

On the other hand, Valdecuevas Cuvée, a limited edition, made in microdeposits and in large oak barrels, looking for the perfect combination of the varietal aromas of the Verdejo grape with those of the aging in oak, is being recognized, in its first year, For the most important competitions. A wine elaborated with much mime that results in a wine with intense nose, elegant and complex, persistent and balanced in the mouth.

Bacchus is the only event endorsed in Spain by two international labels, the World Federation of Great Contests of Wines and Spirits (VINOFED) and the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).
