Produced entirely with Verdejo variety grapes, this wine comes from our oldest and least productive vineyard, “Pago de la Pardina”. The stony soils of this estate favor balanced maturation, resulting in a wine with unmatched flavor.
Original from the renowned RUEDA Designation of Origin, Valdecuevas Verdejo has been awarded awards such as the MUNDIUS VINI 2022 and the ULTIMATE WINE CHALLENGE 2018, reflecting its superior quality. As for its characteristics, it has a straw yellow color with bright green tones. Its aromas, dominated by notes of stone fruit such as peach and apricot, are complemented by a subtle background of fennel. On the palate, it is fresh, pleasant and voluminous, with a balanced acidity that persists and leaves a long-lasting aftertaste.
The 2023 harvest has been one of the earliest in the last decade, starting on August 16. Despite the climatic adversities, the grapes have maintained exceptional health quality, which guarantees a wine of the highest quality.
